Pretty Princess Big Girl Bed

So, we finally got Ameliah a big girl bed this weekend. It is a little white toddler sleigh bed and she absolutely loves it! When we showed it to her she laughed and clapped and just had a blast with it. The whole day she walked around like she just knew how special she is. I don't have a cute little bed set for it yet, but she doesn't know the difference. I had an extra crib mattress so all I had to buy was the bed frame. It's a good thing, too, because crib mattresses are almost as expensive as the bed was!

I also figured that since she was ready for a pretty princess big girl bed, that she should start using a pretty princess big girl potty. I don't think that she is quite as ready as I am to potty train. I made her a potty chart that she gets to put a little sticker on every time she sits on the potty and a big sticker every time she goes on the potty. Her little potty chair plays a song when you go, but she doesn't care; she doesn't care to go on it. So far there is only one big sticker on the chart and lots of little ones. I'm not giving up yet! Having two kids in diapers is not fun...or cheap! At least I have them wearing the same size diapers (yes, Cannon is that BIG).
